MUHAMMAD SALMAN
He is a finance professional with expertise in corporate compliance, financial reporting, internal audits, and external audits. Areas of his practical exposure are managing M&A deals, licensing of NPOs and insurance companies, listing and delisting of stocks, the revival of listed stock companies etc.He is from the background of Chartered Accountancy and graduated from the University of Karachi then later on completed his Postgraduate qualification in Economics. His professional career started from working as an Assistant Manager Assurance and later on worked in positions like Senior Manager Assurance, Manager Corporate Compliance, Manager to Corporate Offers etc. He has also managed Accounts, and Corporate departments as head of the department in a CA firm where he managed two branches at the same time.His core areas of consulting are corporate finance, compliance with taxation and other corporate laws, and related advisory. He is a leader on one hand and a very good team member on the other hand.
MADIHA FATIMA
Madiha is a financial analyst and an educationist furthermore, she is associated with overall AFAP group as professional. She is pursuing her CA certification and has completed her graduation from University of Karachi and later on her post-graduation in field of Political Science from the same university. Her CA articles were completed from a reputed Chartered Accountants firm having financial institution and listed stock entities in its portfolio. She served her time mostly in external audits and furthermore in financial advisory services.Her expertise are mainly in financial analysis in addition to performing due diligence, and business deals. In addition to a finance professional she has also served as faculty member in the City School in English function for more than two years and volunteer in The Citizen Foundation for one academic session.
Asghar Imam Khalid, FCA
Asghar Imam Khalid is a highly qualified and experienced member of CFO Oversight, serving as a Director Corporate Affairs. He is a Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and in addition to that he holds multiple degrees and certifications, including beng a Law Graduate, and a Chartered Secretary. With over 35 years of post-qualification experience in the fields of Finance, Audit, Corporate Affairs, and Tax, Mr. Khalid has a proven track record of success in working with public sector corporations.Mr. Khalid has worked in various positions, such as Partner in multipal professional firms, General Manager, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Director, and acting Chairman in public and private sector companies. His experience working in such diverse roles and positions has made him a valuable asset to the firm. He has participated in various seminars and workshops held in the country and abroad on behalf of the Government of Pakistan, demonstrating his expertise in the field.After retiring from government service, Mr. Khalid has been working as a Practicing Chartered Accountant since 2012, using his vast knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their financial goals. In 2019, he was included in the list of Professional manager and official Liquidator by the Security Exchange of Pakistan (SECP), further demonstrating his expertise in the field. He also serves as an independent Director on the board of directors of M/s Huffaz Seamless Pipes Limited.
SYED YASIR ABBAS
Syed Yasir is a finance professional and has a decade of experience in field of accounting and finance. Furthermore, he has completed his post-graduation in Economics and MBA in Finance. He is a worthy resource as team member.He started his career as a finance trainee and earned experience of accounting and audit. Soon after internship he got associated with a renowned tech company of Pakistan Softech Microsystems where he managed overall finance function and tech inventory under direct supervision of CFO. After Softech he joined Army Welfare Trust (AWT) as Finance Associate and worked there for more than 04 years till he joined AFAP as fulltime faculty member for business studies.He is incharge of accounting and bookkeeping function of the AFAP Managements.
ASILA ARIF
Asila Arif is a qualified professional and earned her postgraduate qualification in international relations. She is a professional speaker inspired by technology, wild ideas, and strategy. She knows how everything talks and communicates among one another in a unique manner. She started her career as an accountant in a logistic company alongside she continued working side by side as a freelancer in managing brands to build their image. Experienced in advertising and publications where her ideas come alive with some of the most dynamic organizations locally and internationally.Later she joined a QCR firm of Chartered Accountants where she managed audit of financial statements of different organizations including listed stock entities, large sized entities, manufacturers, traders, exporters, non-government organizations, schools and funds including employees’ benefits. She was tasked to involve in planning of assignment to meet stringent deadlines, including supervision & motivation of team members too. While leading any engagement, she was supposed to do evaluation of internal controls, identifying control deficiencies & making appropriate recommendations under the corporate laws as needed.Her learning journey towards communications, digital, technology, content and brand strategies, public speaking and everything related to motivation, positive thinking and leadership and strategy continues and excites all of us to remain close to her and learn incredible techniques on business growth.
